A "museum without walls" that represents the Ak-Chin Him-Dak tribe's connection with the natural environment and promotes the sharing of the past, present, and future. The Museum provides a mechanism for the Community to share its spirit with the outside world. Exhibits include Tohono O'odham art objects, crafts, and photographs.
Him-Dak means "way of life" in our language. Our way of life has been passed to us through the centuries, and we have the responsibility of passing it on to future generations. Our Eco-Museum is a reflection of ourselves as we define our values and identities to share with visitors.
